\"\"<\/a>“We don’t believe in the notion of work\/life balance.”\u00a0 This the first sentence of our signature book:\u00a0 What Really Works: Blending the Seven Fs to Live the Life You Imagine.\u00a0 Co-author Tim Schmidt and I came together around the concept of “blending.”\u00a0 Just like this picture, we found the stress of trying to balance our “work” and our “life” was very tricky, and exhausting. Case in point:\u00a0 Which side of the teeter totter do you assume is the “work” and which is the “life.”\u00a0 Work is life, life is work.\u00a0 Human beings were meant to work hard, build things, and enjoy serving others.\u00a0 Personally, I love my work, and I’m proud that my children have seen me enjoy working hard.<\/p>\n

Looking forward, we are encouraging people to build their life philosophy around Seven Fs: faith, family, finances, fitness, friends, fun and future.\u00a0 These are things that really matter, and when we intentionally plan our time around blending several Fs together, we can leap ahead in our happiness. \u00a0 Use the reply form below and tell me what you think of this concept, I’d like to know.<\/p>\n
